Jon Olsson is a gift that keeps on giving. The handsomely rich pro skier has a thing for insanely fast, madly modified cars and putting videos of them on YouTube. We’re here to bring you the latest adventure in his awesome car journey: Project Phoenix, aka the RS6+.
Wrapped in Olsson’s trademark black and white, with red accents, this is the car that replaced his last RS6 – which was stolen and torched. Again modelled on the idea of a DTM-spec RS6 Avant, but with part-shielded wheels, this one was built and tuned by Abt Sportsline.
It was only the middle of last year that we brought you George the Rolls, Olsson’s near-800bhp and dramatically un-Rolls-Royce-ish Wraith, but the Swede really has a thing for the RS6 and just had to get another.
It’s louder than the old one, says Olsson in the video. We believe him; the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 sounds very, very naughty. We’ve no been given any specs for the beast, yet, but we’ll bring them to you as and when they emerge!
