Klassen is offering to convert the Rolls-Royce Cullinan into a long-wheelbase model
Once considered the most anticipated sports utility vehicle in the world, the Rolls-Royce Cullinanwas the brand’s first SUV. Since it was launch, the ultra-luxurious SUV has been exceeding the Rolls-Royce sales expectations. Now, the Cullinan is made more opulent with a stretched wheelbase version as created by German company Klassen.
Tagged as the Rolls-Royce of SUVs, the Cullinan is meant to appeal to wealthy customers looking for a potent, ultra-luxurious yet highly practical SUV. But the people at Klassen know that ultra-rich people see luxurious mobility as being driven, not being behind the wheel. Thus, cabin space is of utmost importance to them, and luxurious cars with long wheelbase are heavily preferred. Klassen seeks to redefine the opulence of the Cullinan by creating a long-wheelbase version.
Klassen is not new to stretching high-end vehicles. In fact, creating long wheelbase models is its specialty. It has already created long wheelbase version of a number of luxury models, such as the Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, Mercedes G-Class and the Range Rover Autobiography. With the Rolls-Royce Cullinan tagged as an ultra-luxurious SUV, there is nothing that can prevent Klassen from giving this model a long-wheelbase makeover.
Compared to a standard Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the Klassen Cullinan LWB has a wheelbase that is around longer by 1,016 mm (40 inches). From just 3,295 mm (129.7 in) of wheelbase for the standard Cullinan, that of the Klassen Cullinan LWB has been extended to 4,311 mm (169.7 inches). Overall, the Cullinan LWB – at 6,357 mm (250.2 inches) -- is now longer by 1,016 mm (40 in) than the standard Cullinan (5,341 mm or 210.3 in).
Of course, the Klassen Cullinan LWB also received a number of detailed modifications, all geared towards making this now stretched model more opulent than the standard version. This includes level 7 ballistic protection, which means it can stop 5.56 mm rifle shots (.223 Caliber). This can level of security can be upgraded up to level 9 ballistic protection, stopping shots from a .30-06 caliber rifle. Moreover, the Klassen Cullinan LWB comes with a partition wall, LED ambient lighting, a multimedia center and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Klassen is now accepting orders for a Cullinan LWB. Nonetheless, the Germany company has yet to convert the Rolls-Royce Cullinan into a long-wheelbase version, and the images it released are all just renderings.
Interested customers can place an order for the Klassen Cullinan LWB for a whooping €1.8 million, or around $2.08 million. It will take around six months to fully convert a Cullinan into a long-wheelbase version after an order is placed.
