Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is 705-hp off-road monster with optional 808-hp upgrade

Here comes a 6x6 pickup truck that can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. It isn't only mean and fully capable, but is also menacingly fast. We are referring to the all-new Hennessey Goliath 6X6, the latest creation of North American automotive tuner Hennessey Performance (HPE).

The new Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is essentially HPE’s follow-up to the VelociRaptor 6X6, which was unleashed in 2017. While the VelociRaptor 6X6 sounds faster than the Goliath 6X6, the latter is actually quicker on the sprint.

HPE created the Hennessey Goliath 6X6 from a Chevrolet Silverado, in particular from a Trail Boss Z71 model. This version of the Silverado was already a capable machine off the road. But HPE transformed it into a creation that most off-roaders would crave for.

The Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is still powered by the factory 6.2-liter V8 engine of the Chevrolet Silverado. However, with performance as part of its name, HPE had this mill undergo its HPE700 Supercharged engine upgrade. This upgrade entailed the installation of a 2.9-liter supercharger system that can deliver 7 psi of boost. In addition, a stainless steel exhaust upgrade was also implemented.

As a result, the now supercharged engine can deliver 705 bhp of max output at 6,200 rpm as well as 675 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,200 rpm. This is far more powerful than the V6 engine in the VelociRaptor 6X6 that delivers 602 hp of max output and 622 lb.-ft. of peak torque.

With this much power on hand, the Hennessey Goliath 6X6 can zoom from nil to 60 mph in around 4.5 seconds, or around 0.4 seconds quicker than the VelociRaptor.

However, if a client wanted more, he or she can avail of the 808-bhp stroker motor upgrade, increasing the total output of the Hennessey Goliath 6X6 by more than 100 bhp.

As a 6X6 conversion, the Hennessey Goliath 6X6 features additional axle, wheels, tires and brakes. Aside from its all new rear suspension system and eight-inch lift kit, the Goliath 6X6 rides on Hennessey 20-inch wheels shod with BFG 37-inch off-road tires. In addition, the new Goliath 6X6 comes with a custom 6X6 truck bed, rollbar upgrade, LED lights, as well as Hennessey front and rear bumpers. GOLIATH 6X6 & HENNESSEY graphics are also part of the package.

Optional upgrades also include the Brembo brake system upgrade and custom interior upgrade.

The new Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is available at a starting price of $375,000, which already includes the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado truck as well as a 3-year / 36,000 mile warranty. HPE will be building just 24 units of the Goliath 6X6.

INTRODUCING THE HENNESSEY GOLIATH 6X6

Following the success of the company’s VelociRaptor 6X6, the team at Hennessey Performance (HPE) is adding another six-wheel drive truck to their stable of exclusive off-road vehicles: THE HENNESSEY GOLIATH 6X6. Based on the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado truck, the GOLIATH 6X6 takes the already very capable Trail Boss Z71 model and elevates its off-road capabilities to another level.

As with anything from Hennessey, the first order of business is adding more power. In the case of the GOLIATH 6X6, the factory 6.2L V8 engine is upgraded with the company’s HPE700 Supercharged engine upgrade which includes a 2.9L supercharger system producing 7 psi of boost along with a stainless steel exhaust upgrade producing 705 bhp @ 6,200 rpm and 675 lb-ft torque @ 4,200 rpm. 0-60 mph times are expected to be in the mid 4 second range even with the additional weight of the 6X6 conversion. The base price for the 2019 GOLIATH 6X6 is $375,000, which includes the 2019 Chevy Silverado truck. Production is limited to just 24 units and the vehicle is available for export to international markets.
