2026 Audi Q3 Base Price Jumps to $55,250 in Canada
Base All-New 2026 Q3 Roughly $10,000 More Than Base 2025 Model
All-new 2026 Audi Q3 starts at $55,250 in Canada, marking a major pricing shift.
New turbo engine, upgraded digital cockpit, and revised platform elevate the Q3’s premium positioning.
Base price now matches former top trim, replacing the cheaper 2025 Komfort entry point entirely.
Audi Canada has opened pricing for the all-new 2026 Q3, and the brand’s smallest SUV is taking a big step upmarket. The redesigned model will start at $55,250 with fees, marking a substantial increase over the outgoing 2025 Q3, which began at $45,950 for the Komfort trim.
The all-new 3rd-generation 2026 Q3 arrives on a fresh platform with a more refined design and a dramatically updated interior layout. Returning for active duty is the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder now producing 255 hp (+27) and 273 lb-ft of torque (+22), paired with standard quattro all-wheel drive and a dual-clutch gearbox. A plug-in hybrid variant was expected to join the lineup, though Audi Canada has opted not to import it to our shores.
Inside, the transformation is much more obvious. The new digital cockpit features an 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central display. Audi has moved the transmission controls to a steering-column stalk, allowing for a more open centre console and improved storage. Materials, lighting, and layout all move the Q3 closer to Audi’s larger SUVs and farther from its entry-level origins.
Because of this, the jump in pricing is shocking, but explained with ease. The 2025 Q3 Komfort, the previous entry-level trim is no longer available. The Progressiv, the new gateway version, was priced at $51,050 for 2025. This same trim now starts at $55,250, or $100 more than the top 2025 Technik iteration. The 2026 Technik is now $58,550. The extra power and built-in technology justify the increase.
Audi appears to be aligning the Q3 more closely with premium rivals like the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, Lexus NX, and Volvo XC40, all of which have steadily crept upward in price and equipment in recent years.
The outgoing 2025 Q3 seems to remain available at lower transaction prices, offering a more affordable entry point for shoppers not ready to make the leap to the new platform. That model, the Q3 40 TFSI quattro Tiptronic Komfort, is powered by a 184-hp turbo-four and continues to deliver a familiar Audi experience.
The 2026 Audi Q3 is expected to arrive in Canadian showrooms later this year, with trim-level pricing and option packages to be detailed closer to launch.
