According to preliminary data from Subaru, the 2026 Solterra is expected to deliver up to 450 kilometres of range on a full charge. That’s a notable improvement over the 2024 model’s 359-kilometre range. The new Solterra is equipped with a 77-kWh lithium-ion battery.

It’s worth noting that the 2026 Solterra is now compatible with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) and features battery preconditioning for improved efficiency.

Subaru claims the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes using a 150-kW fast charger.

What powers the 2026 Subaru Solterra?

A more robust electric setup powers the 2026 Solterra. Its dual electric motors produce a combined 338 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds. The vehicle retains its permanent symmetrical all-wheel drive with Subaru’s X-Mode system, which includes two selectable modes.

What styling updates set the 2026 Solterra apart?

The 2026 Solterra features refreshed styling. Both the front and rear ends have been redesigned. Depending on the exterior colour selected, the wheel arch mouldings may now match the body colour. Buyers will have a choice between 18-inch and 20-inch wheels.
