2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series set to be unveiled at Los Angeles Auto Show

Lexus could be saying goodbye to the present generation of its LX luxury sports utility vehicles through a new exclusive model. Set to be unveiled at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show this month is the new 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series.

The hard truth with the Lexus LX is that the third generation of the luxury SUV has been in production since the 2008 model year. That makes the third-gen LX a 10-year old model, with latest refresh done around three years ago. Nonetheless, the LX luxury SUV managed to prove that it can be an inspiration for customers seeking a higher-level driving experience. To celebrate that, the 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series is bound to be unveiled at the upcoming 2019 LA Auto Show.

In this new guise, 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series is wrapped in a stealth Black Onyx exterior finish as complemented elegantly by a black front grille with a dark chrome surround. In addition, the new LX Inspiration Series comes with headlamps, foglights and windows with black trim, as well as smoked headlamp lenses. The dark theme is also evident on the rear section as the taillamps, license plate and back door all feature black chrome accents. Completing the dark theme of the new LX Inspiration Series are its 21-inch black alloy wheels with black center caps.

Complementing the dark-theme exterior of the of the 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series is an interior marked by an exclusive Moonlight White Semi-Aniline leather trim with a black headliner. The new LX Inspiration Series also comes with heated wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel, as well as a cool box and wireless charger. Technological wonders inside the new LX Inspiration Series include a Color Head-Up Display (HUD), a Rear Seat Entertainment System as well as a 19-speaker, 450-watt Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound audio system.

Distinctly finished carpet, key gloves and cargo mats also makes up the interior package for the new LX Inspiration Series. Furthermore, the new 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series is loaded with Luxury package that includes a Climate Concierge, a “LX” projector door lamps as well as heated and ventilated front and second-row outboard seats.

Serving as the core of the 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series is a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 383 hpof max output and 403 lb.-ft. of leak torque as mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The LX Inspiration has a towing capacity of 7,000 lbs.

Lexus will only build 500 examples of the 2019 LX Inspiration Series, each having a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $100,420.

Lexus Inspires Drivers with Special Edition SUV

The Climate Concierge feature automatically monitors the temperature of the four separate climate zones and adjusts not only the fans, but also the temperature of the seats and steering wheel. In addition, the “LX” projector door lamps round out this Luxury package.

Every LX Inspiration Series also includes the following features: Rear Seat Entertainment System, 19-speaker, 450-watt Mark Levinson®1 Reference Surround Sound audio system and Color Head-Up Display (HUD).

Like all LX 570s, the LX Inspiration Series is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine with 383 horsepower and 403 lb.-ft. of torque available at 3,600 rpm. Equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the LX is capable of towing up to 7,000-lbs.
