Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is the latest Race Taxi at Nurburgring Nordschleife

This is because the XE SV Project 8 currently holds the record as the fastest production four-door car to complete a lap in ‘The Green Hell’.

Boasting of being the most extreme performance road-legal Jaguar, the XE SV Project 8 completed a lap at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just seven minutes and 21.23 seconds (7:21.23) in November 2017. Riders of the new Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Race Taxi with Track Pack will enjoy the same thrill. The exhilarating performance and handling of this Race Taxi will be apparent as it cruises through the Nurburgring Nordschleife at speeds exceeding 250 km/h (155 mph). Through the ride, passengers will get to experiences g-forces of over 1.3 g as the XE SV Project 8 Race Taxi with Track Pack maneuvers through the 73 turns of the circuit, especially in the banked Karussell corner where g-forces can reach 1.8 g.

This performance is made possible by the 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 engine sitting under the hood of the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Race Taxi with Track Pack. This mill delivers up to 600 PS (592 hp or 441 kW) and up to 516 lb.-ft. (699 Nm) of torque. With this power on hand, the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Race Taxi with Track Pack can sprint from nil to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).

Visitors may also choose to take a ride on the Jaguar XJR575 Race Taxi. Considered as the fastest and most powerful XJ in Jaguar’s history, the XJR575 is served by the same but less powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine. Delivering 575 hp (422 kW) of output, this engine allows the XJR575 to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h).
