2018 BMW M5 (F90) has a base price of $102,600 in the US, deliveries start in spring

There is no question that the new BMW M5 (F90) high performance sports sedan is more powerful, faster and more enticing than the previous model. But for interested customers in the United States, the question would be how much they need to shell out to get behind the wheel of the new BMWM5.
US customers could now pre-order the new BMW M5, and are expected to take deliveries of the new performance sports sedan in spring of 2018. While the previous BMW M5 could be availed at a starting price of $94,100, the next generation of the sports sedan comes with a base suggested retail price of $102,600 in the US. This was revealed by one of the account users in the Bimmerpost forum.
According to this forum member – who goes by the username Dinan-M – he pre-ordered a new BMW M5 and got a 10-percent military discount. It would be safe to assume that this Bimmerpost user was a member of the US military, and thanks to that, he only has to shell out $92,000 for his new BMW M5.
Interestingly, this Bimmerpost member also posted an order sheet for the US version of the BMW M5. This ordering and pricing guide, which pertains to Military and Diplomatic Sales, indeed lists the price of the new BMW M5 at $102,600. The order sheet also lists all the standard and optional features available for the new BMW M5.
For instance, the new BMW M5 comes standard with dynamic damper control, 19-inch M double-spoke wheels with mixed performance tires as well as sport automatic transmission, rearview camera, and heated steering wheel.
Also standard are power front seats, split fold-down rear sear, automatic climate control and park distance control, as well as navigation system, heads-up display, Harman Kardon surround sound system, dynamic digital instrument cluster and SiriusXM Satellite Radio with one-year all-access subscription. The US-spec BMW M5 is provided with adaptive full-LED headlights, automatic high beams, daytime driving light as well as Active Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning systems.
As per the order sheet, the US-bound BMW M5 is wrapped in Alpine White non-metallic exterior finish as standard. However, customers may have the performance sedan be finished in optional metallic colors for additional $1,950. These colors include Azurite Black Metallic, Champagne Quartz Metallic, Almandine Brown Metallic and Rhodonite Silver Metallic.
As standard, the interior of the US-bound BMW M5 is upholstered in extended Merino Leather, although it could optionally be specified in full Merino Leather for extra $3,500. Other upholstery options – for an additional $5,000 - include (Ind) Full Merino Leather, Caramel/Black Full Merino Leather, Smoke White/Black Full Merino Leather and Tartufo Full Merino Leather.
Several packages are also available like the Driving Assistance Plus Package (plus $1,700), Executive Package (plus $4,000), and the First Edition package (plus $18,500).
