Component LTD creates white Ferrari 488 Spider fitted with Novitec Rosso parts

A number of tuning companies are making money out of clients who are more than willing to pay just to make their rides capture their taste and preferences. Now, a tuning company from Tel Aviv, Israel that goes by the name of Component LTD has transformed a Ferrari 488 Spider into something that definitely mirrors the wishes of its owner.

Wrapped in a white finish, this ride seems to be an ordinary Ferrari 488 Spider at first look. However, a closer inspection reveals that this Ferrari 488 Spider is fitted with a number of additional components or aftermarket parts. These parts were thoroughly and neatly integrated into this Ferrari 488 Spider that it would be difficult for an untrained eye to distinguish them. In fact, you may even think that these aftermarket parts were originally installed into the Ferrari 488 Spider.

A number of aerodynamic aftermarket parts were sourced from Novitec Rosso. These elements include the front lip, side air intakes and side skirts, as well as rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler. Interestingly, all these parts for the Ferrari 488 Spider were created from carbon fiber. Novitec Rosso was also responsible for the engine bonnet and the multi-piece wheels that were derived from the NF7 series.

Other modifications made to this Ferrari 488 Spider include the fitment of a special exhaust system from specialist Akrapovic. It seems Component LTD did a good job in making sure that all these aftermarket parts were elegantly installed and fitted. Component LTD didn’t say whether it made any tweaks on the powerful 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 engine of the Ferrari 488 Spider. The absence of any modifications under the hood means that the V8 engine of the Ferrari 488 Spider could still deliver 670 PS (492 kW) of max output at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm (560 lb.-ft.) of peak torque available at 6,750 rpm.

With a dry weight/power ratio of 2.12 kg/PS (6.35 lb/kW), the Ferrari 488 Spider could sprint from zero to 100 km/h (0 – 62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds and from nil to 200 km/h (0 – 124 mph) in 8.7 seconds. Top speed is pegged at more than 325 km/h (203 mph). Power is sent from the engine to the wheels through a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission.

With a length of 4,568 mm (179.8 in), width of 1,952 mm (76.9 in) and height of 1,211 mm (47.7 in), as well as a wheelbase of 2,650 mm (104.3 in), the Ferrari 488 Spider was created as the two-seat roadster variant of the 488 with a folding hardtop. It is just 50 kg (110 lb) heavier than its coupe sibling.
