V12-powered Lamborghini Aventador SVJ could deliver more than 800 PS of max output

A new version of the Lamborghini Aventador is definitely on the way; it is just that the supercar maker has yet to announce its official name. There have been reports saying that this would be a Performante, an SE, a GT, a JOTA or an SV, although nothing is sure yet. Nonetheless, the newest Aventador is a true performer, with a potential power output of more than 800 PS.
While Lamborghini has yet to officially announce the true moniker of its new Aventador creation, it seems like a leak has occurred. Weeks ago, an Instagram user shared a leaked image of the instrument display showing the name of the new Lamborghini supercar – the Aventador SVJ. The letters SV has been known to stand for Super Veloce, which are the Italian words for “super fast.” Quite a number of Raging Bull models have already received this designation.
The letter J, meanwhile, was first used by adopted by the factory’s test driver Bob Wallace, whose drove a special version of the Lamborghini Miura that bears the J mark. In fact, Lamborghini actually managed to convert some Miura SV models to SV/J specification. The Aventador J – unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show -- was the last Lamborghini model to use the letter as a suffix.
Just recently, another Instagram user has posted a rendered image of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (Super Veloce Jotta) – let’s call it by this name for now. This user is claiming to have ordered a Roadster version of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, with delivery set to happen by late next year or early 2020.
He disclosed that the Aventador limited edition would feature the four-wheel steering (4WS) of the Lamborghini Centenario, the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA or active aerodynamics) of the Performante as well as the magnetorheological suspension of the Aventador SV.
This Instagram user also said that the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be powerful enough to outclass its Ferrari V12 rival. This refers to the Ferrari 812 Superfast, which V12 engine is tuned to deliver up to 812 hp (790 PS) of output. This may mean that the new Aventador SVJ would be powered by an engine – a more powerful version of the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 mill -- that could deliver more than 800 PS. This would effectively make the Aventador SVJ more powerful than the 812 Superfast.
Aside from these disclosures by the said Instagram user, Aventador SVJ is expected to be lighted than a regular Aventador, thereby putting its massive power output to a more effective use.
While the Instagram user said that the Roadster version of the Aventador SVJ is expected to be delivered in late 2019 or early 2020, the Coupe variant is expected to be launched first. This means that the initial delivery period for the Coupe would be earlier than that of the Roadster.
