Anyone willing to get a Lamborghini Murcielago for just $16,850?
Remember that Lamborghini Huracan that was being sold for five dollars? Yup, the one that caught a lot of people’s attention. First, because it was so affordable; and second, because it was burned down to ashes and was still up for grabs.
Well, now we have another one with a similar case. But this time, it costs much more. But still affordable, just imagine buying a brand new entry-level Toyota, but you’ll get a Lamborghini Murcielago instead. But you’re probably thinking now that there’s a catch to this price drop.
What’s the first thing that comes into mind when you see an eBay seller whose username is “lamborghinidismantler”? Ok, you’re probably thinking he’s selling bits and pieces, or Lambo car parts. Well, he is selling parts that originate from Sant’Agata Bolognese, but besides that, he is also selling an original frame of a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Coupe. But if you go and check out the listing, it doesn’t look like it is in its best condition. Yup, the item looks like it has been torched down, though it definitely is in a better condition compared to the $5 Huracan. At least this one has still got its shape.
If this listing interests you, then it is as easy as hitting the “Buy It Now” button, that is if you agree to pay $16,850 for a burned down frame. The frame also comes with the scissor doors that “can be saved” according to the seller. This package also comes with the original Lamborghini salvage paper if that will convince you to purchase this.
But to whoever decides to purchase this eventually, you do know that it will take a lot of time, effort, and more money to restore this, right? Having said that, we aren’t even sure if you can actually repair this back to its original form. So it definitely will be a gamble. But if you don’t mind burning some cash, then go ahead because no one will stop you.
The eBay seller, however, isn’t just selling old car parts and burned down pieces, he is also currently selling an original 6.2 liter V12 engine that was pulled out of a 2006 Murcielago that only covered a total of 6,737 miles (10,842 kilometers). Besides all this, he also sells seats, steering wheels, brake calipers and some other components. In fact, if you buy all the parts this guy is selling, you can probably build yourself a custom Lamborghini that actually works - that’s if you’re good at solving puzzles.
What may have caused this raging bull to burn down? We have no idea, and the seller didn’t include the background story of this Lamborghini Murcielago in the description box - but we can tell that whatever happened to it was quite severe.
