The £40,000 Heritage Edition Is Ford's Fond Farewell To The Focus RS

Production of the Focus RS is ending at last, but not before Ford has celebrated its best hot hatch of this century with a super-limited-edition run of cars badged Heritage Edition

Ford is choosing to bid farewell to the awesome Focus RS with a Heritage Edition that’s limited to just 50 cars.
Production officially halts in April, but this final run of extra-special versions (hopefully built with the correct head gaskets) will have more power, bonus equipment and a new ‘Deep Orange’ paint job.
The power boost will come from the existing and much-loved Mountune FPM375 upgrade. That means the 2.3-litre turbocharged four-pot jumps from 345bhp to 370bhp, while torque stretches by 22lb ft, to 376lb ft.
It also gets a Quaife mechanical limited-slip differential on the front axle, which is nice. Inside there are part-leather Recaro seats, a sunroof and a heated steering wheel for extra Drift Mode comfort. The price for these 50 exclusive cars is a hefty £39,985, over £7000 more than standard.
