Buyer gets Aston Martin Valkyrie featuring moon dust into its paint

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is probably the most futuristic looking vehicle that is out today. In fact, it looks like a spaceship on wheels and could perfectly star in a Sci-Fi movie. Having that, it is actually currently being developed by Gaydon, together with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to make it perform even better than it already does.
It’s a limited edition model with only 150 units to be produced. However, every single example has already been accounted for. Now, one future owner of this car revealed to us what he has planned for his vehicle.
The Valkyrie’s style alone is already pretty much out of this planet, as you can see here in 95 percent ready production form. Now, the owner chose to get the Lunar Red paint to finish his car, but with one ingredient the automaker, or the industry has never used before: dust from the Moon.
Yes, this guy is outrageous enough to think of that, and he also managed to purchase an actual rock from the Moon, which will be processed into dust and mixed into the red paint. As I just said, this is definitely going to be a first in the industry. Let us just hope that things don’t get messed up as they experiment on the Valkyrie. The reason why he wanted to do this is to raise the bar of his specs to be worthy of Valkyrie level.
Of course, these specs would cost a whole of money. Unfortunately, he would not talk about how much he has already spent on the car. Since this is based on the pure design specification, he will likely spend a little over the starting price of $2.6 million.
The guy behind this concept is actually Adrian Newey, and his Aston Martin Valkyrie’s specs include a naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 Cosworth engine that is paired with an electric motor. When combined, this can carry out as much as 1,130 horsepower (yup, its output has reached four digits). It can also move around 2,270 pounds (1,030 kilograms), so be ready to be blown away by the performance.
Aston Martin is so confident with the Valkyrie that they think it could beat the lap times of a Formula 1 car. We’re willing to bet that if the Valkyrie does get the opportunity to race on the Nurburgring, it will outdo the Porsche 911 GT2 RS’ record of 6:47.3.
Aside from this street legal model, Aston Martin plans to make 25 more cars restricted to the track. These will definitely be more intense when it comes to performance levels and could take on models like the Ferrari FXX K Evo and McLaren P1 GTR.
