YasidDesign penned a mad machine out of the Nissan GT-R

One might say this GT-R rendering looks as if it came straight out of a post-apocalyptic Hollywood film but to those familiar with the CrossOut game, this concept will surely make it to the final round.

Drawing its inspiration from the post apocalyptic MMO action game, the design artist renders the GT-R with a completely new body work. To make way for this, the designer has fitted the body with new fenders, chunkier set of wheels, a roof mounted set of ammunitions and exposed engine. As a result, the Nissan GT-R morphed into an angry, full metal monster armed with battle gear as if ready to take on the enemies.

The Crossout game is based on the aftermath of the apocalypse where adventure-seeking souls find respite after a nerve-wracking work week. Perhaps the irony of playing this game is that it will take you to a place where there’s a different kind of commotion and at the same time, offers more freedom than anyone can have out of the real world.

For one, the game entails its players to craft their own battle figures or in this case, vehicles of any shape and size to fight off anyone in the massive online gaming community. One perfect example is this particular Nissan GT-R that shape-shifted like one of those combat vehicles with heavy weapons.

To those who can recall, the Nissan GT-R received a minor makeover just the previous year. The mighty 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine has been enhanced to produce up to 565 horsepower, which is basically a 20hp increase from the previous output. To offer a more premium feel, the cabin has been redesigned along with several technical and exterior upgrades.

For a quick rundown of the new features, the New GT-R now comes equipped with Active Sound Enhancement and Active Noise Cancellation technologies. The sound dampening system and acoustic glass help in reducing wind noise throughout the cabin.

Adding uniqueness to its character is the new V-motion grille design that comes with matte chrome finish while the new mesh pattern is slightly larger to deliver better cooling.

As for the interior, the new Nissan GT-R is already equipped with a new seat design and leather wrapped instrument panel in nappa finish. Also, the paddle shifters have been mounted within the steering wheel for easier access while the 27 control switches on the instrument cluster have been cut down to 11 to make it more user friendly.
