2019 Audi RS7 gets rendered

Audi is now working on an all new A7 Sportback along with the new the RS7 and S7 variants. That said, it’s still a couple of years more before an RS7 will come strutting its way into the showrooms.

While waiting, Peisert Design has a vision of what the next Audi RS7 would look like. Taking its cues from the spy shots and leaked images of the new A7, the designer has adopted the same edgy design into the creative visual art which includes Audi’s more aggressive front grille and pointed headlamps.

While the rendering artist hasn’t touched the current model’s rear diffuser and tailpipes in oval shape, the redesigned tail lamps has been extended all the way to the Sportback’s wider rear end. Aside from these, Peisert has imagined the new RS7 to come with larger air intakes which is also flanked by black chrome lower lip at the front.

As much as we’d want to see this design on the new RS7 variant, Audi will still have the last say on the final outcome. Whatever the case may be, the new Audi RS7 is expected to pack a powerful 600hp twin turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. The turbocharged petrol should be capable to produce at least 700 Nm or up to 750 Nm of torque using the over-boost function. If ever, Audi’s powerful engine should be powered by the same Quattro All-Wheel-Drive System and mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission just as with the current RS7 model.

Audi as we know has brought out a performance variant of the RS7 in the previous year. The luxurious 4-door coupe or the RS7 Performance model is considerably faster than Audi’s current RS7 Sportback. The RS7 meanwhile is faster than the A7.

By all means, Audi’s RS7 Performance is the most menacing of all the Sportback variants. The sport coupe styling cues are perhaps the most interesting coupe design to ever come out of a sedan. It features a new set of sports Matrix LED headlights, larger front grille and hybrid aluminum body.

All in, the RS7 Performance has the ability to run from zero to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 305 km/h. It also boasts as low as 9.5 liter fuel consumption for every 100 km. For better driving experience, Audi has equipped the RS7 Performance with a specially tuned adaptive air suspension while an optional DRC or Dynamic Ride Control suspension system is also available.
