Snoop Dogg is now the proud owner of a Tesla Model X

Rap legend Snoop Dogg, aka Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr, has taken delivery of his new Tesla Model X. To our amazement, this famed music producer and actor from Long Beach, California took to Snapchat and other social media platforms to share a quick preview of his recent purchase. Soon enough, a video with “The Dogg” and his White Tesla SUV was uploaded by a YouTuber that goes by the name “My Tesla”. Of course aside from Snapchat, the rest of “Mr Dogg’s” posts have also gone viral whether it came from his Reddit or Instagram account.

Snoop Dogg’s Tesla Model X comes in white body paint and is fitted with a set of 22-inch matte black Onyx wheels. On the video, it does look like the music artist opted for the 6-seater configuration and dressed it up entirely in black leather while the rest of the accessories are in ash wood finish . Other than showcasing the highly renowned falcon wing doors open wide, the video happens to show the Model X’s highly impressive 17-inch touch screen monitor.

Not only is Tesla popular among high-profile Hollywood stars, sports personalities or the majority of New York's elite, but in recent years the eco-friendly vehicle has also impressed the who’s who in the music industry. The rapper, also known as “Snoop Lion” was just among the many internationally acclaimed celebrities to own a Tesla vehicle. Among them are Stevie Wonder, Adam Levine, John Legend, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Jay Z. Radio personalities such as deadmau5, Skrillex and Zedd have their own Teslas as well. With this news hitting the Internet, it seems owning an EV is once again the coolest thing on earth.

Toyota Prius, as we know, was the most coveted vehicle among environmentalist/celebrities before Tesla. Today, it does look like the company from Palo Alto, California is rewriting history with their new models. The Tesla Model X for example is the brand’s latest luxury crossover SUV that’s equipped with the same falcon wing doors found on their sedans. When lifted, the doors on the Model X give its passengers easy access to the 2nd and 3rd rows. Records also show that the SUV’s EPA rating boasts up to 237-295 miles of range.

Snoop Dogg meanwhile has just launched the COOLAID movie. The film basically tells about the hip hop star’s early life and how he eventually established a name in music. The movie’s launch came at the right time for his new album, which also goes by the same name.
