TopCar has a body kit in mind for the Lamborghini Urus
While everyone wants to get their hands on a Lamborghini Urus as early as now, that isn’t likely to happen. However, one lucky tuner did just that. In fact, TopCar Design has already started on its latest project.
Many of you would agree that a factory fresh Lamborghini Urus already looks aggressive as it is, especially when it comes to its exterior design. Howevever, Lamborghini boasts that the Urus stands out from the crowd because of its “2/3 body, 1/3 window” ratio that is like that of a supercar - similar to both the Aventador and the Huracan.
But no matter how beautiful it already is, some people just want more, or maybe they just want to make their ride more personalized. If that is so, then this custom body kit by TopCar Design is probably what you need.
The image posted here, however, is just an initial sketch of the Urus’ body kit, says Russian tuner TopCar. And there will likely be a lot more changes to this.
If you look at it, one thing that you would definitely notice is that it has a more aggressive spoiler with thicker bumper surrounds up front. The hood also gets an upgrade, while the wheels grow in size. Aside from those, the side skirts have become chunkier and both rear spoilers have been modified. A larger diffuser is also in place, paired to two different sets of exhaust tips and multiple vent surround inserts. All these added bits are of course made from carbon fiber. The taillights now have a white background, while rear gills get a gloss black trim.
The updates do not end there. TopCar also plans to offer two sets of exhaust tips: either a quad setup with round tailpipes, or two enormous pentagon shaped tips.
When it comes to finishes, this particular one in the photo has a nice deep shade of green, contrasting with grey mirror caps. It seemingly looks like a military vehicle in the process. As for the cabin, the tuner did not share with us any sketches, but we are quite sure that they will do something pretty amazing to the interior as well, as this will have to match the striking look of the car from the outside.
So far, they have not said anything regarding the powertrain and on whether or not this will get a boost. The Urus currently produces 650 horsepower from its 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 unit. However, knowing what this tuner likes, they will probably inject something in the engine to make it perform even better. Of course, an aggressive looking car has got to have an impressive performance too.
