Ford Focus RS Red Edition Revealed As Production Nears Its End
With the end of Focus RS production almost upon us, Ford has revealed a new version of the LSD-equipped 'Edition'
With the end of Focus RS production nigh, Ford has unleashed another special edition version upon the world. It’s called the Red Edition, and yes, Ford has dropped a Santa Claus reference in the press release. We’re not even mad.
It has a mechanical Quaife limited-slip differential for the front axle, the roof, mirrors and rear spoiler finished in black, part-leather Recaro seats and a load of carbonfibre bits in the interior.
Sound like a familiar recipe? It should do, as you get all that with the Focus RS Edition revealed a few months ago - the only difference here is the Race Red paint.
But hey, it looks awesome with the contrasting black trim, and the production run of 300 (for the UK only, although North America received Edition cars in blue and red earlier this year) will make sure it’s an exclusive affair.
Tempted? It’s yours for £36,295 and available to order now. The first cars will roll off the production line in February 2018.
