A Lamborghini Huracan is being sold at auction for $5 only

What’s the lowest price you can get a Lamborghini for? Whatever your guess is, we’re sure that it won’t be anywhere near $5. So then, that makes you ask – What’s the catch? It’s quite a serious one.
Owning a supercar not only means a one-time big time paycheck, you’ve got more responsibilities than that. And to be more specific, that means having to spend a lot more money on maintenance and repairs.
This one right here is a total outlier. And yes, of course there is a good reason as to why it is only $5. But before I reveal to you the reason, any takers? Sorry, but nope, it’s not a discount coupon or anything. This Lamborghini Huracan is not functioning anymore, and I doubt that even the repair shop can help you out with this - because it’s already in ashes. And I mean that this car has been burned to a crisp. In fact, the Huracan is so damaged that you can’t even recognize it anymore. But who knows, someone’s trash may be a treasure to another person, or even an art piece.
Before this was burned down, it had a black exterior that matched its all black cabin. And it had a 5.2 liter V10 engine with 601 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The supercar had a top speed of 202 miles per hour (325kph) and was capable of sprinting from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100kph) in just 3.2 seconds. Plus it had an actual cash value of US$236,055 (when it still came in one piece)
We don’t know exactly know the reason why this former one piece supercar has been burnt into millions of ashes. However, we do know that supercars tend to catch fire from time to time, especially if the driver pushes the engine too hard, too often.
There was one case wherein the owner learned this the not so ideal way. The Lamborghini Gallardo was seen burning on the street of Miami, and was caught on tape. It wasn’t just an ordinary Gallardo, as it was equipped with a pair of turbochargers. It originally came out of the factory as an LP570-4 Superleggera, but the owner had it modified by Underground Racing, so it can have an output of 1,000 horsepower. But guess what? With the heat in Florida, plus that massive engine power, the vehicle couldn’t handle it.
Well, if this still interests any of you, then you may check out the ad posted on IAAI.com. I believe the only valuable thing left here are its keys. That’s because most of its parts are missing, and of course, the machine won’t start. Also, you’ll have to do some sweeping when you get to the site where you’ll pick up your $5 Lambo.
