Hong Kong gets its second Lamborghini Centenario Coupe in Lime Green
Many of us know that Hong Kong is one of the most expensive cities in the world, but we don’t often see a lot of supercars in the country, or maybe we just don’t hear about them. Recently, one of just 40 examples of the Lamborghini Centenario had just been spotted in Hong Kong.
As we know, the said model will only have a limited run - that includes 20 coupes and 20 convertibles, where each one starts at $1.9 million. In the past few months, we have seen over 10 examples that have been delivered across the globe. The very first one, finished in a beautiful carbon fiber and blue trimmed bull, was delivered to Lamborghini Newport Beach in California, USA. We also heard about the orange-trimmed Centenario that showed up at H.R. Owen in London.
As mentioned earlier, one of the Centenarios has just landed in Hong Kong. As if being one of 40 is not rare enough, the coupe becomes even more exclusive in its Verde Bronto bright green exterior that has been given a matte finish for a standout look. To make it look more stylish, it had been given some carbon fiber trim, and there are gold carbon fiber accents on the roof, engine cover, side mirrors, rear wing, the lower body and the wheels for some contrast. What’s more is that the gold accenting is scattered through the cabin for added luxury.
Nearly every inch of the cabin is coated with Nero Ade black Alcantara, with contrasting bright green finish trim to match the exterior, and a full carbon fiber package throughout. As for the oily bits, it was equipped with a naturally aspirated V12, just like the other Lamborghini Centenario examples. This engine lets it produce as much as 759 horsepower (565 kilowatts), enabling it to hit 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 217 miles per hour (350 kmh).
If you would like to see this rare bull before it heads to its respective owner’s home, you can check it out at the Lamborghini Hong Kong showroom’s Grand Opening VIP Party starting on October 18. We think that this Lime Green coupe would surely turn heads in the busy streets of Hong Kong. Can you guess what colour the next Centenario would be finished in?
Last May, the very first Centenario Coupe was delivered in Hong Kong, but it was not as flashy as this one with its black carbon fiber body and yellow accents. And if you were wondering, the very first delivery was sent out to a customer in UAE, finished in orange and black with a price tag of almost $2 million.
