BMW M4 gets stunning makeover from Wheels Boutique
The BMW M4 (F82) has been a favorite subject of modifications among many tuners as well as individual fans and enthusiasts. Wheels Boutique is joining this fray by implementing a couple of simple yet attention-grabbing tweaks on the BMW M4.
By itself, the BMW M4 is already good looking – solid yet dynamic. But Wheels Boutiquecustomized the BMW M4 in a pretty straightforward manner. It wrapped the BMW M4 in a customized exterior paint finish called Silverstone Metallic II. This exterior paint finish may look like your typical shade of silver when viewed from afar or in pictures. However, when viewed closely on some particular angles, Silverstone Metallic II further accentuates not only the lines but also the curvy surfaces of the BMW M4 – thanks to its light blue hue. This is certainly true on the BMW M4’s character lines that flow down on both sides and its seemingly building front bonnet.
Of course – as its name indicates -- Wheels Boutique’s specialty is on vehicle rims. So, the main point of this customization is to show how grand Wheels Boutique’s wheel selection for the BMW M4 could be. For this particular BMW M4, Wheels Boutique decided to employ a set of HRE P101 wheels finished in matte black.
This set of wheels measures 20 inches x 8.5 inches at the front and 20 inches x12.5 inches on the rear. To complement and accentuate the beauty of these black rims, Wheels Boutique also employed a lowered suspension system, effectively lowering the ride height of BMW M4, making the coupe sit closer to the ground. Likewise, this particular M4 is provided with upgraded Brembo brakes complete with bright yellow calipers.
For the 2017 model year, the BMW M4 – along with the rest of the BMW 4 Series family – is receiving a Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) from the carmaker. This LCI – actually just BMW’s term for mid-cycle update or refresh – brings subtle changes on the exterior of the 4 Series family, although more noticeable tweaks can be found inside the cabin.
As for the BMW M4, this performance version of the 4 Series will boast of a sharper design. Moreover, the 2017 BMW M4 Coupe and the 2017 BMW M4 Convertible will feature -- as standard – with adaptive full-LED headlights and newly designed full-LED rear lights. Both M4 models will be fitted with updated version of BMW’s Navigation system Professional and other ConnectedDrive features. It is expected that the 2017 BMW M4 Coupe LCI will still be powered by the same S55 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. However, this engine will be able to produce more power, from 425 hp to 450 hp.
