This Java Green Rolls-Royce Wraith can be yours for $411K

Being able to afford a Rolls-Royce means that you have made it to the top of the chain so you probably don’t want to be subtle about it. You’d likely want one that’s painted in a bright, flashy colour. In this case, this RR Wraith that’s painted by the guys from Goodwood in a unique shade of Java Green is perfect for you. This eye-catching hue isn’t new. In fact, its parent company BMW has been offering this colour for quite some time now.
But then, this color is frequently seen on supercars, not so much on this luxurious coupe. So for this colour to appear on the Wraith is a bit of an oddity. But why not paint a rare car in a colour that you don’t normally see on it, right? It just makes it even more special, in our humble opinion.
When looking at this example with the dark theme applied onto the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, it actually makes us think that we are dealing with the Black Badge edition that features a couple of black styling accents on the exterior. However, Rolls Royce denied this and said that it is not just an ordinary black shade because the hue was made even more intense than a normal black colour. This was also done after giving the paint multiple layers.
If this example truly is a Black Badge version, then it will likely come with a biturbo 6.6 liter V12 that can bring out 624 horsepower and an extra 52 pound-feet (70 Newton metres) of torque. All in all, we can expect a grand total of 642 pound-feet (870 Newton metres). Apart from the engine, the Wraith also comes with an upgraded air suspension and an eight-speed gearbox that is quicker, while keeping the lower gears longer for higher rpms.
Performance really is not what Wraith buyers prioritize. But even then, the coupe still performs really well, being able to hit 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in just four and a half seconds. As for the top speed, it can reach 155 miles per hour (250 kilometers per hour). That is not so bad for a US-spec car that weighs as much as 5,380 pounds (2,440 kilograms), right?
A standard Rolls Royce Wraith costs $317,700 SRP. But this special Java Green version can be yours for $411,825 from a high-end dealer in San Diego, California. That is almost a hundred thousand dollars more than its original price. But that is also because this might be a Black Badge version too - which makes it a sensible purchase.
